Four Jeju cosmetics brands including 6-Drops, ACCOJE, MJ, and PARAJEJU have recently cut a ribbon on the flagship store named Jeju Cosmetics at Now Zone Fashion Mall in HCMC, Vietnam.
The store under Jeju concept is the first of its kind in the region as the brands have identified Vietnam as one of their strategic growth markets. Four brands are well established in Jeju, a special self-governing province in Korea specializing in cosmetics industry with its abundant natural resources and highly supportive infrastructures including R&D and good manufacturing facilities.
“The skincare brands debuted here are authentic Jeju cosmetics products as they are utilizing a variety of truly local raw materials and abide by strict rules on quality control. We hope the store to play a role as a platform for local consumers to aware of and experience Jeju cosmetics,” said Dr. Nam-ho Lee, president of the Jeju Industry-University Convergence Center which supports for the operation of the store in cooperation with U1 University that is active in helping local brands with overseas marketing.
The store has officially started its operation on November 9 following an opening ceremony where a Vietnamese all-girl pop group LIME had a fan meeting in celebration of the launching of Jeju cosmetics brands in HCMC.
The store is to be operated by Van Phong Co., Ltd., a local partner, for a limited time until February 2019 and, if assessed to be helpful, would extend its operation on a yearly basis.
